Welcome to the Home Acre Hop!

It’s been a crazy, busy week here On the Home Front. We’ve been busy with company and lots of produce coming in from the garden to be dealt with. For those of you who have been following my Guinea Fowl experiment we are now down to zero Guineas! The ones that were left had become very mean to my chickens so the Guineas have gone to a neighbors farm and are doing quite well living with their guineas!

Now it is time to link up or just continue reading and be inspired by all the blogs that link up their wonderful posts! I just love being one of the hosts of the Home Acre Hop. Each week there are so many wonderful posts that are shared here. Each week we have more folks linking up! Very exciting.

Please, only link posts that you haven’t linked before to keep the hop fresh and fun for everyone. Be sure to visit the other hosts as well. We would love to have you follow us on Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter, Etsy, Google+, Instagram or by email!

Each host will feature her own picks from the posts linked the previous week. That means your chances of being featured are even better! Visit each of our blogs to see if you were featured this week! (Don’t forget to link back to one of our blogs if you’d like to be featured!)

I am really enjoying reading the posts everyone is linking up! You sure make it hard to pick two favorites, there were so many informative and interesting posts.

Kristi from Let This Mind Be In You shared a wonderful post on Building a Continuous Chicken Feeder. This allows Kristi and her family to be a way from the chickens for just a few days knowing that they will have a good supply of  food. Kristi’s tutorial is very clear and I am going to have to try making one of these feeders for our chickens! Thanks so much for sharing Kristi,  be sure to grab the I Was Featured Button to display on your blog!9469071200_673f2b51a9_o

If you would like to be featured in the future, be sure to link back to the hop. We love to read encouraging posts about homesteading. Please stop by to congratulate the featured bloggers this week.
