As I mentioned yesterday it is peach season.Peaches I was lucky enough to have some peaches delivered to me from Bishop’s Orchards in Connecticut. They have the best peaches! I made a Peach Raspberry Crisp, which was delicious!

Peach Raspberry Crisp

4 cups sliced, peaches (skin and pit removed)
1 cup fresh or frozen raspberries
2 Tbsp cherry cordial (op)
½ cup flour
½ cup brown sugar
¼ cup butter
½ tsp cinnamon (op)

Combine the peaches and raspberries with the cordial and place in a shallow baking dish.Peaches and raspberries

Combine the flour, brown sugar, butter and cinnamon and work together until the mixture is crumbly.Topping mixture Spread over the peach raspberry mixture.Ready for the oven. Bake for about 30 minutes. Delicious served with a little vanilla ice cream!

Now the first time I made this last week I cooked the peach raspberry crisp and we ate it all up before I remembered I never took any pictures! What’s a blogger to do? Why make another one!Peaches and raspberries Which I did.Oven ready. It was equally delicious and perfect with a little vanilla ice cream! My husband was so happy!Peach Raspberry Crisp

I’ve been collecting so many peach recipes lately, but I’m pretty sure this one will top the list. It looks so good I can almost smell it baking right now!

No photos. What a good excuse to make more of this delicious dessert. Yes the ice cream looks very comfortable with the peaches. That peaches photo at the top is very well done, I like that too. Thanks so much for bringing this lovely temptation to Fridays Blog Booster Party #21. I hope you can bring some more next week.

I love any kind of crisp. I recently canned some peaches and cherries together and that was also a good combination, in my opinion. Look forward to trying your recipe – I need to go and buy more peaches though – I only have 2 right now.
