Our Simple Homestead Blog Hop #55

The best thing about June in Vermont? Wild strawberries! They make the best muffins which my husband loves. He will sacrifice his time to go pick the tiny, flavorful berries and in exchange I make muffins! I’ll be sharing the recipe next week! Don’t you just love his smile!Wild Strawberries

I didn’t realize you were also in Vermont! I have a strawberry garden too, but I haven’t checked on it in a few days. I wonder if any strawberries are ready to pick yet. Thank you for this reminder!

Mrs White, My husband was picking the wild field strawberries which ripen just a few weeks before the regular strawberries! Small but mighty in taste! Thanks for stopping by!
